Click on Layout, then Edit HTML
You might want to save the full template before you do anything.
Hit the Expand Widget Templates, then look for the line:
<div class="post-header-line-1">
You want to place the code under this line.

This link allows you to place your button wherever you would like it.

Oh good - I was hoping I wasn't the only one missing the line in the post to look for.
Hopefully it will work for me once it's added. I never could get the "like" button added to my page. Don't know why either.
